We’re building The Digital Construction Wales Toolkit free for the built environment sector in Wales, delivered by Constructing Excellence in Wales (CEWales) and funded by Welsh Government.
Welsh Government published the ‘Digital Action Plan for the built environment sector in Wales’ in November 2025, developed in partnership with CEWales and the sector. The toolkit turns that plan into something a firm can use.
What it does
- Places your firm on the sector wheel, so the guidance suits the work you do.
- Builds your Digital Profile: a picture of how your firm works digitally today.
- A library of guidance, templates and standards, each reviewed before it appears.
- Welsh case studies: proof from firms like yours, on jobs like yours. These are being gathered now.
- An AI assistant, planned, to answer plain questions from the library and about the job in front of you.
Who runs it
CEWales owns the site and is responsible for the information held on it. CEWales is a not-for-profit, membership-led organisation, part of the UK Constructing Excellence movement, and has worked in Wales for more than 20 years.
The content is developed with the Wales Digital Steering Group, convened by CEWales and drawn from across the sector. Our thanks go to the group and to its Steering Group Co-Chairs, Rhys Lewis and Dan Rossiter.
